Sharman Joshi hails from a distinguished Gujarati Brahmin family of actors and performers. His father, the late Arvind Joshi, was a celebrated veteran of Gujarati theatre. His aunt, Sarita Joshi (Bhosle), and other family members have made notable contributions to Marathi and Gujarati theatre.
He is the brother of actress Manasi Joshi Roy and brother-in-law of actor Rohit Roy.
Sharman Joshi completed his Bachelor’s education at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, before permanently relocating to India to pursue a full-time career in acting and filmmaking.
